Overview

Alyacen 7/7/7, a type of birth control pill, is a combination oral contraceptive containing three different types of hormones: ethinyl estradiol, norethindrone acetate, and ferrous fumarate. This triphasic pill is taken for 21 consecutive days, followed by 7 days of placebo pills. It is primarily used to prevent pregnancy, but it may also have other benefits such as regulating menstrual cycles and reducing menstrual cramps.
