Overview

Amturnide is a combination medication used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It contains three active ingredients: amiloride, hydrochlorothiazide, and valsartan. Amiloride and hydrochlorothiazide are diuretics (water pilhahals), while valsartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). Together, they work synergistically to lower blood pressure by increasing urine output and relaxing blood vessels.
