Overview

Arcapta Neohaler is a medication used to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other respiratory conditions. It contains the active ingredient indacaterol, which is a long-acting beta-agonist (LABA) that works by relaxing the muscles in the airways, making it easier for patients to breathe. Arcapta Neohaler is an anti-asthmatic medication and is used on patients with COPD for chronic bronchitis and emphysema, mainly to improve lung functioning, to reduce symptoms that may cause wheezing and shortness of breathing, and to prevent the exacerbations.

Arcapta Neohaler is inhaled by using a device called the Neohaler, which is designed to deliver the drug directly into the lungs for rapid and effective relief. It is not a rescue medication but used as a maintenance treatment to help manage the symptoms of COPD over the long term.
