Overview

Calphron is a medication. It is often prescribed by doctors for patients with complications of kidney stones and with calcium metabolism. The application of the drug is to increase the chance of preventing an increase in the formation rate of kidney stones, commonly calcium oxalate kidney stones. This is mostly done for patients who usually have repeated occurrences of having kidney stones or those having a tendency to form these stones in the past.

In addition to kidney stones, Calphron may also be required for patients diagnosed with one of the calcium disorders- hypercalcemia or perhaps other calcium balance conditions of the body.
