Overview

Charlotte 24 Fe is a type of combined birth control pill, prescribed for pregnancy prevention. The two active ingredients include an estrogen known as ethinyl estradiol and a progestin called norethindrone acetate. These hormones work in tandem to control the menstrual cycle and prevent 

 

Charlotte 24 Fe is a 24-day regimen of active pills taken for the first 24 consecutive days, followed by 4 inert or placebo pills. The purpose for designing this regimen is to provide a more level hormonal dose, especially an attempt to regulate menstrual-related symptoms, like a heavy flow or cramping.
