Overview

Daysee is an extended-cycle oral contraceptive designed to help women manage their menstrual cycles and prevent pregnancy. Unlike traditional birth control pills, which are typically taken for 21 days followed by a 7-day break, Daysee is taken continuously for 91 days (13 weeks). This means you only have 4 menstrual periods per year, making it a convenient option for women who want fewer periods or who experience severe menstrual symptoms like cramps, bloating, or heavy bleeding.

Daysee contains a combination of two hormones: levonorgestrel (a progestin) and ethinyl estradiol (an estrogen). These hormones work together to prevent ovulation, thicken cervical mucus, and thin the lining of the uterus, making it harder for sperm to reach an egg and for a fertilized egg to implant.
