Overview

Delsym is one of the over-the-counter cough preparations, given for common cold, flu, and many other infections.
The Delsym formula comes in syrup and contains dextromethorphan as an active ingredient. This is a cough suppressant and acts whenever there is signal interchange to cough. Delsym is taken every 12 hours for the purpose of providing long-term relief from coughing. It is prescribed most of the time by pharmacies because it doesn’t need a prescription, and people like it because it heals them from the coughing situation.

Delsym is the long-acting formula which helps for 12 hours in relieving cough using a single dose. Thus, it can be easily administered without the necessity of taking repeated doses throughout the day or night while trying to tackle the cough problem.
