Overview

Aurovela Fe 1.5/30 is one of the combination oral contraceptives, which contains two hormones: ethinyl estradiol-an estrogen-and norethindrone-a progestin. It is used for pregnancy prevention and administered in the form of a daily pill.

The name “1.5/30” refers to the specific dosages of hormones in the formulation: 1.5 mg of norethindrone and 30 mcg of ethinyl estradiol in each active pill. In total, there are 28 pills in the pack: 24 active pills containing hormones and 4 inactive placebo pills that contain no hormones.

Usually prescribed to those who want to avoid pregnancy, Aurovela Fe 1.5/30 can also be prescribed for the regulation of menstrual cycles, for prevention of acne, and for other hormonal-related conditions.
